Adios Raoul Duke

Yet another of my personal hero/idols has shuffled off the mortal coil. I just read the sad news that Hunter S. Thompson has died, apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Of course I know that anyone who led the life he did was fortunate to live to 67, I just never would have imagined him taking his own life. The world is a darker place without his biting and hilarious social commentary.
